2021 Volkswagen Jetta Review

The 2021 Volkswagen Jetta is no longer as athletic or upscale as certain competitors and wins a spot in the lower half of our compact car rating. A 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, good for 147 hp and 184 ft torque, comes standard in the VW Jetta. It’s because this figure of horsepower seems unimpressive. There is enough muscle to accelerate drama-free from a stop, but power tapers off as you reach greater speeds. The Jetta will feel lethargic as the freeway merges or passes.

Six-speed manual, or 8-speed, automatic transmission options are also a bright spot of the powertrain. The manual transmission allows the automobile to feel engaging and better control over the power of the engine. The automatic transmission delivers flexible and fast shifts and doesn’t hesitate to shift down when the gas is hit hard.

2021 VW Jetta Interior

What is the seating capacity of the 2021 Jetta?

There is a seating capacity of five passengers in the 2021 VW Jetta. The VW is one of the comfortable cars of the class, with ample head- and legroom in both rows.

Child car seats in 2021 Jetta

The Jetta’s rear outboard seats have two full LATCH connectors and a tether anchor for the rear middle seat. The lower anchors are easy to locate when exposed in plastic surroundings and not covered in the seat cushions.

Cargo Space in 2021 Jetta

The trunk of the 2021 Jetta is 14.1 cubic feet long. This car has a large amount of space relative to other sedans in the compact car segment. The rear seats are 60/40 divided, fold-down but don’t flow over the trunk floor. This ensures that you can hold longer items, but bulkier cargo can be hard to fit. And the trunk is deep and wide; the trunk is a hinge dip into space.

Interior Quality of 2021 Jetta

Most cabin materials of the 2021 Jetta are high-quality and soft to touch. On constantly contacting surfaces like the doors and the center console, considerably more rigid plastics preclude the vehicle from looking as upscale as certain class rivals.

Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation in 2021 Jetta

A 6.5-inch touch screen infotainments framework comes with the standard 2021 VW Jetta. For this new vehicle, the size display is very small, but it is easy to use and convenient. Clearly labeled and mounted physical knobs and controls. Bring a degree of comfort to the regular Android Vehicle, CarPlay, and other smartphone mirroring.

Higher versions display the latest MIB3 app on an 8-inch touch screen. This leads to faster processing times and better speech recognition and navigation efficiency. This setup also offers smartphone connectivity with the wireless App-Connect.

  • A 6.5″ touch screen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and a stereo with four speakers is a standard option.
  • Available features also include an 8inch display, a 10.25inches optical instrument cluster, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless, charging wireless phone, satellite radio, navigation, a six-speaker stereo, and an eight-speaker BeatsAudio stereo.
  • Other features that are available are an automated rearview mirror, universal garage door opener, sunroof, automatic two-zone climate control, keyless proximity entry, remote starting, and ambient lighting inside.

2021 VW Jetta

The 2021 VW Jetta is a good option.  It has great fuel efficiency, a comfortable back seat, and a comfortable trunk. Starting at about $19,000, this is a reasonable offer. Still, you have to pay an extra hundred to thousands of dollars on additional safety measures like a rearview camera or to receive an automatic transmission or upgraded infotainment system.
