Review

2021 Tesla Model S is an all-electric sedan at the top of the lineup of automakers. The Model S may currently be Tesla’s oldest car, but due to its robust performance and unparalleled all-electric power capacity, it remains attractive. At the moment, it is about 412 miles, the longest Model S on the market. It is the largest in the world.  The first mass-market car to show that electric cars can be fun, eco-friendly, viable as daily travel or even suitable for longer journeys was Tesla’s Model S sedan. For 2021 all of this is even better, as Model S takes on a place in our Editor Choice list.

Depending on the trim you choose, the model S has only one charge between 390 and 520 miles and offers the best supercars in the world a blistering acceleration performance. Tesla now sells more practical and more affordable models such as the Model Y SUV and the Model 3 sedan, but the Model S remains its flagship. The interior is comfortable for four adults but does not match the price tag of luxury. With increased pressures on rivals like Porsche Taycan and the next Lucid Air, this Model S is no longer in one class but is enough to market it in the Tesla EV lifestyle for some buyers, the athletic chassis, the Ludicrous mode, and the exceptional range.

2021 Tesla Model S Interior

An upgraded interior is also available in 2021. In Model S, the original vertical screen orientation is no longer: In 2021, the Tesla style is introduced on models three and Y, with a horizontal touchscreen.  There is also a dash-mounted information display of the driver on the steering wheel and a rear passenger entertainment display. Buyers would reasonably hope to see a certain comfort level in their vehicle as Model S prices begin at nearly $80,000. However, it’s not as plush as our favorites like the Mercedes-BENZ E-Class and the Volvo S90.

The cabin’s atmosphere is nice enough. The inclined roofline of the model S smoothly hides the rear elevator, revealing an enormous 26-foot trunk. Without folding back the chairs, we managed to stash eight of our cabinets. Nearly any major control is connected to the big touchscreen display, which occupies the whole center of the dashboard. It makes for a clean design, but it can be annoying and confusing if you don’t know the menus. Simple activities like setting the cruise control or checking pneumatic pressures enable the digital manual to be searched.

Other controls mean that you take your eyes off the road all too much. The rest of the interior, though, is very nice. The doors open wide enough to make it very convenient, and it is easy to find a comfortable location once you are located. The front is very spacious, but the rear is less roomy than the smaller Model 3 sedan. It is reasonably sized. Thanks to a surprisingly low hood, visibility is fine, but the back window is narrow and too high.
