2021 Nissan GT-R – Review, Specs, Configurations, Prices, and Interior
The 2021 Nissan GT-R is close to the bottom of the class. The GT-R has scorching engine performance, planting and an intuitive touch screen but its unparalleled interior quality, it’s fine backrest and its lack of sophisticated functions make it easier to achieve. The legendary Nissan GT-R is a super vehicle with an acceleration of gutpunch, but its shine has been dimming — there have been very few upgrades around for over 10 years — and now there are more desired super cars at the same price. It is driven by a twin-turbo V-6 engine that pumps 565 or 600 hp according to your select model.
The GT-R standard all-wheel-drive provides tenacious handling to accelerate explosively. Unfortunately, the price of the six-figure entry does not purchase a cabin with high-end materials. The exterior style of the GT-R will not appeal to everyone — from certain angles it seems comically enormous — yet it keeps turning its heads for better or worse. Nevertheless, the GT-R is a performance powerhouse with an integrated exclusive feature, so it may be your perfect ride if you dare be different from Nissan’s halo sports car.

What is the seating capacity?
The Nissan GT-R is a four-seat, two-door coupe. The front seats offer excellent support and stay comfortable for extended road journeys. There is enough front and legroom for taller passengers, and visibility on the front and sides of the vehicle is excellent. The back seats are tiny for adults to sit comfortably, and even the rear legroom may be short of supply for small kids. However, few other vehicles offer even rear seats in this class. Leather polishing, a steering wheel with leather wrapping, and heated power-adjustable front seats are standard. Recaro front seats inspired by racing are offered.
How many Child Car Seats are there?
Two full LATCH connections for the rear seats are available in the Nissan GT-R.
The clean, simple interior of the Nissan GT-R. Most surfaces seem dark and covered in plastic and synthetic leather upholstery soft-touch. The looks and feel are superb but not luxury, particularly beside rivals like the BMW 8 Series and Porsche 911.
The Nissan GT-R has a trunk capacity of 8.8 cubic feet and is suitable for luxury sports cars. This is enough space for a couple of golf club bags, a few pieces of luggage, or a lot of groceries. The tiny opening of the trunk makes it difficult to fit bigger items.
Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation
The Nissan GT-R comes with an 8-inch touch screen as standard. This display responds fast to inputs and has a simple menu structure. It is complemented by certain buttons and knobs on the dashboard for the major audio and climate controls so that the touch screen does not have to be used for every function. Better still, Apple CarPlay supports, allowing users to integrate their iPhone interface.
A range of track-orientated readouts like oil and coolant temperature, torque distribution, G-force, and turbochargers may also be displayed. The downside is that the visuals seem a little dated, and the system does not allow smartphone integration for Android Auto.
- Standard infotainment: 8″ touchscreen, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, HD Radio, Satellite Radio, and an 11-speaker Bose stereo Standard features:
- Additional features: keyless entry, start push-button, and automatic double zone climate control
