2021 Nissan Armada – Review, Specs, Configurations, Price, and Interior

2021 Nissan Armada

$48,900 - $68,300

  • Good interior with many characteristics
  • Friendly system of infotainment

  • Not attractive as competitors
  • Bad ratings on fuel economy
  • Unbearable handling

2021 Nissan Armada comes close to the bottom of our big SUV rankings. It is not that spacious. But still, it has a good cabin and a strong engine. 2021 Armada’s full-size SUV has a little makeover for the next model year, with a front and back nip and tuck, a large, brand-new infotainment system, and another tech, a reworked trim line-up, and new standard features. Overall, it still feels like the same truck-based three-row pickup as before, essentially a less costly version of the Infiniti QX80.

On the other side, there is less possibility to adjust to your competitors like Toyota Sequoia, the Ford Expedition, and the newer Chevrolet Tahoe through choices and packages. The last two rivals are very attractive, modern, roomy and efficient. And although we wouldn’t take you away from Armada if it meets your desires and needs, we suggest that you visit at least Ford and GM lots before participating in the Nissan offers.

2021 Nissan Rogue Interior

What is the seating capacity?

The Armada has a standard seating capacity for eight people but can drop seven second-row captain’s chairs. The front seats are comfy and supportive, and good visibility is provided. The second-row seats are also inviting, and the captain’s chairs offered are the nicest ones for this SUV, and they also have less chore for third-row access. The third-row seats are smaller than those of rivals, yet adults are still able to reverse the path.

How many Child Car Seats are there?

For the second-row outboard seats, there are two full sets of LATCH connectors. Models with a second-row bench have a tether anchor for the center seat, while all models have a tether anchor for the third-row passenger seat. At least when it comes to location and access to the lower anchors, this system is quite easy to utilize. Thus, looking for the tether anchors on the back of the chairs close to the base is a bit hard to discover. The connection of car seat straps to the tether anchors also requires a lot of effort.

Interior Quality

This Nissan is not the most advanced SUV in the class but has a beautiful interior with many quality materials.

Cargo Space

This large SUV offers a lot of cargo capacity, as you would expect; however, some class competitors still give greater space. The Armada has 49.9 cubic feet and three rows folded behind its 3rd row sitting, 95.4 cubic feet with all the back seats foldable.

Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation

The Armada features an updated 2021 infotainment system with a simple design and a bigger touch screen that responds rapidly to inputs (more than 4 inches than previous models). Some functions have physical controls, but the broad range of buttons seen in earlier models is gone, which gives the dash a cleaner and less confused look. There’s also a rotary controller, although the touch screen will probably be better used.

  • A 12.3-inch touchscreen, navigation, 6-speaker stereo, Satellite radio, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Ports, a hot Wi-Fi, and Android Auto, as well as Wireless Apple CarPlay, are the standard infotainment features.

Should I Buy a Nissan Armada 2021?

There are reasons for the Armada, but if possible, you should choose one of its rivals. That’s because the Armada isn’t as well-rounded as many classmates so that competitors like Chevrolet Tahoe and the Ford Expedition provide you all that the Armada does and then more.
