2021 Nissan Altima – Review, Specs, Configurations, Price, and Interior

2021 Nissan Altima

$24,450 - $34,250.

  • Roomy, convenient seats
  • Good gas mileage
  • Coated ride

  • Less athletic than some classmates
  • Cabin not as refined as rivals

The 2021 Nissan Altima is a pleasant cruiser with big seats for five people but placed in the lower part of our medium-sized vehicle rankings. The 2021 Altima has a stylish appearance and a few interesting driving choices. All-wheel drive and a technologically outstanding VC-Turbo engine with variable compression for improved power consumption and fuel economy are offered. In the mid sedan market, it’s a more fascinating choice than ever before, even when rival Japanese and Korean brands compete healthily.

Nissan’s interior was modernised, and the new technology Altima had given it a level playing field to compete with the others, and that’s much better for it. Nissan’s 2021 Altima is still not officially modified, but we believe that the sedan remains mostly unchanged. For the 2019 model year, it has been fully redesigned.

What is the seating capacity?

The Altima can seat up to five passengers. Adults may sit in both rows of seats, and the Altima’s Zero Gravity seats are among the most comfortable and supportive in the midsize vehicle class.

How many Child Car Seats are there?

There are two full sets of LATCH connectors for the back outboard seats and a tether anchor for the back centre seat. This LATCH system has the highest rating of Good+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, indicating that it is among the easiest and most versatile to use.

Interior Quality

The cabin of the Altima is mostly made of high-quality materials. However, there are some hard-plastic surfaces. This compares negatively with competitors such as the Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata.

Cargo Space

The trunk of the Altima is 15.4 cubic feet, which is approximately average for the class. The seats fold down to make it simpler to stow longer items, but the trunk hinges cut into the available space, limiting the amount of cargo you can carry in the trunk.

Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation

Nissan comes with the user-friendly infotainment system NissanConnect as standard. Both touch and physical controls are well placed so that you can find what you want while driving easily. But the touch screen might respond to user inputs slowly, and the base model is no more standard for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

  • Standard features: 7-inch touch screen, six speakers, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and satellite radio
  • Available features for infotainment: an 8-inch touch screen, Android car, Apple CarPlay, a Bose audio nine-speaker and navigation.
  • Further features: push-button start, keyless proximity and remote start
  • Other features available: automatic double-zone climate control
