Review
Although not as premium as most of its competitors, the 2021 Infiniti Q50 is a comfortable and powerful sedan, and its infotainment system is not impressive. The 2021 Infiniti Q50 is a sport sedan with an assertive face and increased sheet metal, but not as dynamic as its looks suggest. Its most athletic feature is its potent 300-hp twin-turbo V-6 powertrain which offers fast and easy acceleration.
For those who desire an even faster version, the Red Sport 400 model is appreciated. Despite the indifferent demeanor of the Q50, when driven enthusiastically, it offers a pleasant and calm ride.
Although we are not pleased with its interior storage and cargo capacity or dual-screen infotainment system, we appreciate its superb exterior visibility and ample front-seat legroom. The 2021 Q50 isn’t as satisfying as competitors like the BMW 3 Series or the Mercedes-Benz C class, but it’s still a beautiful and fast sedan.

2021 INFINITI Q50 Interior
What is the seating capacity?
The Q50 car has five seats. The cabin’s best feature is certainly passenger comfort, as front passengers enjoy soft seats and a pleasant, adjustable position. The second row gives a good amount of legroom and headroom.
How many Child Car Seats are there?
There are two full sets of LATCH connectors for rear outboard seats and a tether anchor for the middle rear seat. Lower anchors are simple to find, and most kinds of child car seats can be fitted with little effort in the second row.
Interior Quality
The Infiniti cabin fills with the required soft-touch surfaces and quality materials you expect in a luxury car, but the overall package is suitable. Other competitors in the segment offer a more elegant and modern cabin. You will also notice some road noise and wind noise on the interior of the Q50.
Cargo Space
The trunk of the 2021 Infiniti Q50 measures 13.5 cubic feet, which is about the average class volume. All versions above the base trim include a 60/40 split back seat, which allows long, skinny items. In addition, the trunk is oddly shaped due to the pronounced humps for the rear wheels.
Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation
The center stack of the Q50 is dominated by a dual-screen infotainment system which is visually more impressive than useful. The system is not very intuitive and can be easy to use.
- Standard features: 7- and 8-inch touch displays, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, HD Radio, SAT, hot satellite Wi-Fi, voice-recognition, Bluetooth, and 2 USB ports.
- Infotainment features are available: Navigation, a Bose premium stereo 16-speaker, and two USB backports.
- Additional standard features: automatic double zone climate control and keyless proximity entry.
- Other features are available: remote start, moonroof, universal garage door, and interior lighting.
