Review

The 2021 Honda Civic placed at the top of compact car rankings, due to its crisp handling and large interior. The Honda Civic in 2021 is one of the best options for compact vehicles. There are two body types are available: sedan and hatchback. The main base versions is equipped with two different engines manual or automatic transmissions, while the Type R can have its powertrain.

There are certain constants throughout the extensive line-up. Civic is engaged in driving, cleverly balanced comfort, and handling – shading towards the latter in Type R and Sport Touring trims. The interior is roomy in all models. The trunk of the sedan is spacious, but the hatchback is the genuine cargo carrier.

2021 Honda Civic Interior

What is the seating capacity?

Civic carries five people. The wide door apertures of the Civic make it simple for drivers and passengers to enter the car. In the interior, in both rows, you will find spacious seats, although the sloped roofline hinders the back headroom a little bit. The driver’s seat has an excellent outward vision.

How many Child Car Seats are there?

There are two full sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outboard seats and one anchor for the rear center seat. The LATCH system was given the second-highest grade by the Highway Safety Institute of Acceptance for its ease of use. It’s relatively easy, although the lower anchors are placed in the seats too deep.

Interior Quality

This Honda has high-end interior materials and the plastics are soft to touch. Nevertheless, some critics note that the material quality and overall design of the Civic are not as up-to-date as class competitors like the Mazda3.

Cargo Space

The Civic sedan offers a trunk area of up to 15.1 cubic feet, which is excellent for the class. With the back seats up to 25.7 cubic feet of cargo space and 46.2 cubic feet when you fold down the rear row, the hatchback is even roomy.

Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation

The Civic comes with a barebones infotainment system as standard but is simple to operate due to its convenient physical knobs. The optional infotainment system, however, is not entirely responsive, and most features require touch controls. This makes it harder to use while driving. The updated system includes smartphone integration through Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

  • Standard features include a 5-inch display, four speakers, Bluetooth, and USB port.
  • Available features include a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, a USB, satellite radio, HD radio, navigation, voice recognition, and an upgraded eight, 10- or 12-speaking stereo.
  • Additional standard features is Climate automatic control.
  • Other features available are a start button, remote start, proximity keyless entry, automatic climate control dual-zone, and a moonroof.
