Review

The 2021 Honda Accord accomplishes much of it well and is close to the top of our midsize category. Its outstanding characteristics are its pleasant driving and elegant interior. The Accord has a large trunk that makes grocery shopping a snap, and the back seat is comfortable enough for two adults on extended road trips. For increasing families, the spacious cabin readily accommodates several child seats. However, do not expect massive changes to the Honda Accord of 2021, keeping with the company norm.

The style has been updated, although the difference is difficult to tell. The interior includes more infotainments on more trims while the different driver assistance systems have been updated and expanded. Some improvements in the throttle and brake reaction were also supposedly improved, but we honestly did not detect them before and after they were fine. All these improvements should be good news.

Despite some excellent new rivals in recent years, the 21 Accord still shines out as our top family sedan option. It’s almost all right. It has an enormous interior, yet it is responsive driving. It provides snappy acceleration to the segment with all its drivetrains, including the Accord Hybrid. It is also well-equipped and should provide long-term value with the Honda Accord brand.
