Review
2021 Chrysler Pacifica is in the class of minivans. It provides an enjoyable ride and a laundry range of technologies and comfort features, but rear seats are firm, and reliability is expected to remain below average. The Chrysler Pacifica has been one of our favorite minivans since its launch as a 2017 model. It offers sleek looks, traditional handiness, outstanding infotainment, and the strongest powertrain options. It offers a stylish interior and exterior.
The Pacifica builds smartly on all that we already loved with its 2021 model year refreshments and avoids ruining any good, as shown by our latest Pinnacle trim level test car. With a redesigned front and rear fascias, the Pacifica changes begin on the outside. It makes the van look wider, lower, and middle. But it appears to be different than better, but we don’t dislike it. With its full-width backlights, we like the revamped tail. And if you like the old version for some excuse, the entry-level Chrysler Voyager is just a Pacifica with the old style.
The biggest change under the skin is the inclusion of the all-wheel drive, which the Voyager doesn’t share. For some years, Chrysler had not fitted a drive shaft between the floor well for the Stow ‘n Go second-row seats because this feature was absent from the Chrysler van line-up. This problem was solved, and you will now have AWD without losing flexibility in interior seating. The AWD system can transmit some power to the rear wheels when required and unplug the rear driveshaft to maximize fuel economy.

2021 Chrysler Pacifica Interior
What is the seating capacity?
The Pacifica is a three-row minivan that seats up to 8 passengers, or seven if you have a bucket seat in the second row. Cloth upholstery and a power-adjustable driver’s eight-way bench, and the regular Stow’n Go seats in the second and third grades. Several upgrades to the seat are provided. This includes an eight-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, heated front seats, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a third-row power-folding seat.
This includes leather and Nappa leather upholstery. The back doors can also be used as hands-free power-sliding doors. The seats are spacious and convenient on the front, and visibility in all directions is excellent. However, they are not well padded since the rear seats have been designed to fold flat into the floor. If you sit there for more than a short tour, you can feel uneasy.
How many Child Car Seats are there?
For the rear outboard seats, there are four full sets of LATCH connectors.
Interior Quality
The Pacifica has a high-end cabin with high-quality materials. Luxurious touches are provided to higher trims, including chrome accents, but there are a few inexpensive plastics in the lower trim.
Cargo Space
This vehicle has 32.3 cubic feet of space behind the third row, the second row is 87.5 cubic feet long, and all rows are folded to a total of 140.5 cubic feet. It’s a lot of space, but it’s not that many in other minivans you can find. The Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid, and Voyager are the only cars with that nice feature. The Grand Caravan is discontinued until 2021 (the hybrid model has only Stow ‘n Go seats for the third row). There is a standard power liftgate and a hands-free liftgate.
Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation
With a responsive touch screen that shows organized menus, the Uconnect Infotainment System remains one of the most straightforward on the market. Even among luxury cars, the included wireless Apple CarPlay is rare.
- A 10.1-inch touch screen, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, Apple Wireless CarPlay, Six-speaker Sound System, Radio Satellite, HD Radio, USB, and Bluetooth are infotainment features.
- Available features: a 13-speaker Alpine Stereo, Harman Kardon’s 19-speaker stereo, additional USB ports, an overhead DVD player, a rear-seat dual-screen entertainment device, a wireless charging system, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a “Famcam” (a camera that displays the rear seats through the infotainment display)
- Some standard characteristics: Automatic tri-zone climate control and remote start
- Additional features available: the vacuum cleaner, dual or triple panoramic sunroof.

Should I Buy a 2021 Chrysler Pacifica?
The Chrysler Pacifica certainly deserves consideration for a family vehicle, particularly if you want flexible cargo space. Since Dodge came out of the Grand Caravan in 2021, Chrysler is now the only company to have Stow’n Go seats, but they will not be taken away to increase cargo capacity.
