Review

In the middle of our compact pick-up truck rankings, the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado. The towing capacity and efficient engines are available, but the poorly expected reliability rate reduces its overall ranking. The medium-sized pick-up of the 2021 Chevy Colorado and its GMC Canyon corporate sibling offers a high level of towing and payload performance and capability daily. Moreover, their full-size offspring were much simpler to maneuver.

Colorado has three engines: a surprisingly fast V-6 and a stump-pulling four-cylinder diesel. Although the inside is overrun with low-cost plastics and the bigger cab size has a small back seat, the truck retains a comfortable driving position and athletic handling. Each model comes with a new infotainment system, but Chevy does leave plenty of contemporary driver assistance. 2021 Colorado has an ample resume for many pick-up customers, but it needs qualifications to attract more audiences.

What is the seating capacity?

Colorado Extended Cab models have seats of four persons and Crew Cab five-seat models. Colorado offers comfortable and spacious accommodation on the front. Drivers welcome the location of the high seat that provides a commanding road view. The back seats are not as attractive. Extended cab rear seats give little children only adequate space. The Crew Cab’s health is certainly the way to go if you intend to take customers back regularly, but that’s not as spacious as the rival’s crew cab, and because of small door openings, it can be difficult to get in and out. The large pillars of the roof often inhibit visibility.

How many Child Car Seats are there?

Two full sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outboard seats are provided with this Chevrolet, and Crew Cab models have an upper tether on the rear middle seat. This LATCH is very easy to use, but it can be difficult to find the anchors in both models.

Interior Quality

Certainly, Colorado looks like a truck. Although it looks very modern, the cabin includes plenty of hard plastics and low-quality materials.

Cargo Space

Colorado has two-bed lengths, as is the case for other compact vehicles. Extended cab models come with a six-foot-2 inch long box, significantly longer than class competitors offer. You can pick between the long box and 5-foot-2-inch short box in the crew cab style.

Infotainment, Bluetooth, and Navigation

The infotainment system in Colorado is very much to like. Standard connectivity features such as Android and Apple CarPlay allow your smartphone’s sync and the center stack feature available and usable controls. It’s easy to master the interface and the touch screen responses.

  • A 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, two USB-port, car-play, satellite radio, and six speakers audio system is the standard infotainment feature.
  • Available features for infotainment: wireless charging system, an 8-inch touch-screen, seven-speaker Bose, HD radio, wireless hotspot, USB ports, and navigation
  • Auto climate control and remote start features are available.
