Review

The 2021 BMW X5 is a high-ranking luxury midsize SUV. Moreover, it offers several excellent features like 19″ silver aluminum wheels, front air conditioning, dual-zone automatic, heated-seatback heated front seats, driver and passenger lumbar support. There are two high-performance versions available(M50i and M). They are significantly more expensive than the other models, but they are much more powerful.

A twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 335 horsepower powers the sDrive40i and xDrive40i trims. The 4.4-liter V8 engine in the M50i trim produces 523 horsepower and accelerates 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The M trim takes even less time. It has the same engine as the M50i, but it produces 600 horsepower (617 in Competition kit models) and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. Every trim comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly.

For the 2021 model year, the xDrive45e plug-in hybrid trim is all-new. It has a combined 389 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine and an electric motor. It has the same capacity as the base models, but it gets better gas mileage. All three trims have 5.3-second zero-to-60 cycles.

The BMW X5 comes with a 12.3-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 10-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, a touchpad controller, voice recognition, five USB ports, navigation, HD Radio, and satellite radio, as well as a long list of standard features including a 12.3-inch touch screen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, a 10-speaker stereo, a touchpad controller.
