Review

The 2021 BMW 330 Sedan is a wonderful car to drive. While its outstanding refinement is balanced by a less-than-ideal steering feel, its body is composed on any road, its brakes are powerful, and its ride is pleasant for routine life. Its interior is very luxurious and spacious, with a large trunk.

The trim level of the 2021 BMW 3 Series is the 330 Sedan.  Additionally, two sub-trim levels are also available (330i and 330ixDrive).

After a long day of engaging with a group of strangers at a poorly planned networking activity, the 2021 BMW 3 Series feels like returning home to loved ones.

It is familiar and comforting in a BMW lineup that has become distinctly unfamiliar and at odds with the German brand’s time-honoured strengths of simplistic design and driver-focused dynamics. It just makes sense, which says a lot.

With a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 255 horsepower and 294 pound-feet of torque, the BMW 330i Sedan comes standard.

The performance is one of the highest in the class for a base engine, but it is also very similar to some main rivals, such as the Kia Stinger and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

2021 BMW 330 Sedan Interior

A 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine generates 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque in the 330i models. It might not sound as good as the old BMW sixes, but there’s no shortage of grunt.

The four-pot revs freely, but there’s no need to wring its neck to make swift, effortless progress thanks to the powerful torque at lower revs. Passing power is outstanding and assisted by that eight-speeder, which always seems to pick the right gear.

Standard features on the 330i include 18-inch alloy wheels, cornering LED headlights, SensaTec upholstery, an 8.8-inch central touchscreen display, adaptive brake lights, automatic three-zone climate control, a ten-speaker audio system, and advance collision alerting.

The 330i xDrive is equipped with the same characteristics but sends power via the brand’s all-wheel-drive system to all four wheels. The 0-60 time for this model improves by a couple of tenths thanks to this system.
