2020 Lordstown Endurance Review
2020 Lordstown Endurance is one of the latest concepts for electric pick-up trucks. This truck has a conventional overall shape, but it is currently very unusual because it proposes using in-hub electric motors. This is counter to almost every other electric truck manufacturer’s planned in-board electric motors. In a simulated event held in Ohio, Lordstown Motors has just completely exposed the electric pickup truck. This company is called Endurance, and it has rolled on stage with the company’s CEO and Mike Pence’s Vice President.
The silhouette of Endurance looks much more like a regular pickup and like rendering, contrary to the wild and unorthodox form of Cybertruck. This is by design — Endurance is intended for business customers but also private owners. A crew cab with a tall hood, large cab, and a long bed is pictured here. But there are also plenty of design elements of electric cars found around the whole truck. The smooth, grille-less face starts from the front. Endurance has a huge front shield with the firm’s emblem and a small inlet just below it rather than a large airflow opening.
The front lighting seems to be made of LED lights and is in two stages. Neat electric touch and real pops are the colouring of bronze on the hub motors. Black accents come across the top of the doors from the hood. The bottom of the truck doors also begins with a separate piece of curved black trim used for the “Endurance” emblem. This part enters the rear fender and finishes with the rear lamp. These LED lights extend on both sides of the truck and close to the middle of the tailgate. It has stepped in the rear bumper, similar to the Silverado, under the very normal-looking rear gate.

2020 Lordstown Endurance Interior
Like the Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian R1T interiors, Endurance’s cabin is controlled not by actual buttons but by screens. There are three different displays in a long frame on the dashboard, under which physical control knobs are placed. The rotary shifter and big cupholders are other important features of the five-seater vehicle. With strong metallic highlights, the cabin has a firmly industrial look, and the general interior design matches the minimalist exterior design.
The towing capacity could reach 7.500 pounds, and a video of the Endurance working hard on the worksite recently published by the Ohio-based firm. Also, Endurance promises to be the safest pick-up ever, bold statements that may or cannot match practice. The company claims sports car-like handling. We are, though, keen to slide behind the wheel and at least test Lordstowns electric pick-up truck handling through acceleration – and I hope not his safety devices.
Drivers should travel relatively long distances in the Endurance, as the truck’s range is estimated to exceed 250 miles. Prices will start at $52,500 once the truck starts rolling out of Lordstown, Ohio, plant, which GM once owned. Drivers can have reasonably long distances in the endurance truck as it is estimated that the range of the truck is more than 250 miles.
