The 2004 Volkswagen Passat is a mid-sized car that provides all the sophisticated refinements and technologies of German cars. A four-door sedan or five-door wagon is available to choose between the front wheel and the 4MOTION all-wheel-drive configuration of VW. The spacious family sedan or wagon is fitted with three trim levels and four-engine offers, and a range of front or all-wheel-drive systems (4MOTION).
This year, there is a new engine option—a new 2.0 liter Pumpe Duse turbo-diesel engine. Your Passat could be a fuel-sipping enviro-wonder or an eight-cylinder dynamic sports car/sedan or something between this, depending on your priorities.

2004 Volkswagen Passat Interior
Supple black leather covers luxurious seats that are well supported. The top-notch quality of the plastics and accuracy of the assembly was achieved. The adjustable armrest is nice but could be a little deeper. The compartment of the glove is also very small.
The auto up/down window switches are one of my favorite gadgets in any car. No one does better than Volkswagen; push/pull switches, instead of toggle style, work wonderfully. The purple and red interior lights have been classic and never get older.
Too many designers have tried with little to no success to copy the effect in their cars. This one had no rattles, as opposed to other Volkswagens I’ve tested in recent years. The overall interior is generous, and while the trunk can be a little wider, it is a reasonable size. The finishing touches inside the trunk can be double the price of a car. Anyway, visibility is fine. There are no weak spots. Wind noise, in fact, from the mirrors, occurs. The cabin is very quiet.
