Review
While the 2001 Volkswagen Passat achieves bolder contours and new lights both at the front and back, it goes well beyond a revision of the style. 2001 Volkswagen Passat Interior
The dashboard and seats are amazing and attractive, harmonizing built to the exterior design. The arched hood echoes the roofline over the instruments, and the soft dash curve is in tune with the exterior of the metal sheet. Two adult males have sufficient room on the back seat, but three are squeezed and can only be considered for a short journey. For outboard passengers, only three-point seat belts are issued. The rear cupholder is located in a fold-down armrest for further storage. The sedan’s trunk is very cavernous; the whole distance from the seatback is a relatively long, flat surface. The result is an impressive cargo space of 15 cubic feet, and none of them has lost their way through the trunk lid support, the Passat has the trunk lid articulated.
